Ontario Masters Lacrosse Rule Changes
Thursday, June 6, 2013
Effective tonight we are implementing an amendment to the rule book as passed by the Ontario Masters Lacrosse Council.
A message from the Commissioner/Council:
In order to curb a lot of the "calling the game from the floor" and whining that seems to be increasing, there will be more enforcement of the unsportsmanlike penalty. The Council has instructed Brian (RIC), starting in Fergus and continuing the rest of the season, to have the game officials stop play when they hear any such comments made. The same way we do with a zone defense. First call is a warning and involves a possession change if the offending team has possession of the ball. ANY subsequent complaints from that team becomes an unsportsmanlike penalty. Does not matter if it is the same player. The team, as with a zone defense takes the penalty.
Space Open For More Runners

The 2013 season is now underway. We have room for additional runners, so if you're interested in joining the fun drop me a line.

TMLL Under New Management
Thursday, August 30, 2012
Thanks to John, Elsie and the extended family for running the league over the past three years. They did a superb job in setting the tone ensuring that everyone had a fun and safe time out there. Sticks held high in salute !
Now to the future. Three things:
1. No changes expected for the Summer 2013 season. We'll continue to run out of the Scarborough Soccer Centre on Thursday nights with 8:00 and 9:00 face off times.
2. We're investigating the level of interest with respect to playing year round on Thursday nights. If you're interested in adding a week night game of lax to your itinerary in the Fall and/or Winter, drop me a line.
3. Lastly, we're also gauging interest in creating a second TMLL tournament team. If you're interested (3-5 weekends during the summer), drop me a line.
