The Draft will be held Monday April 14 2008 at a location yet to be announced and I will post teams on the website by Wednesday April 16,08. We will start games on April 24, 08 and go through till August, schedule will also be posted.

Good Winter to all,

Hello all we are in preparation for the upcoming Toronto masters Lacrosse Season 2008. We are starting registration effective immediately with a closed registration for Returning players From February 10 till February 29,2008. If you would like to participate in the spring and summer season you will need to print off a registration form fill it out and enclose a cheque to hold your spot. There has been a drop in registration over the past two years because of all the new leagues that have started around the GTA and with this in Mind we will be slimming our league down to Four teams to accomadate. There will be four teams of 14 players per team which means there is only room for 56 players and after that I will start a waiting list. This is obviously your warning to get your info in Immediately otherwise you may be left out.

We will be running on Thursdays again from 8-10 and most stuff will stay the same. The individual fees for this year are $200.00 This will include 18 weeks of lacrosse, uniforms and lots of lacrosse. Hopefully everyone is excited in what should be another good year of Masters lacrosse.

Championship Week

Congratulations to The Lightning and Black Stallions on making it to the TMLL championship game. The Championship game will be this Thursday August 9, 2007 at 9:00pm, following our all star game at 8:00pm. All players are welcome to join us for the All Star game. There will also be an awards ceremony after the championship game. Lots of awards and prizes will be given out, so don't miss it!

I first of all would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the terrible week we had on May 10,2007. I want to thank you all for your complete understanding of the situation. I have included an extra week to compensate and have done what I can to accomadate. The schedule has been hard this year because of the low enrollment and has made alot more work for myself. I completely enjoy this league and only want to see it as a successful one. The Goalie situation has been a tough one and one that can almost make me wonder why I do it, please understand it is hard to get goalie to commit and to have them out every night, but i will do my best to ensure that the situatioin that happened last week does not happen again. On a good note everything is up and running and you can now check the schedule, because the rest of the year is posted.

Sorry about the delay but here it is the official list of teams and schedule for the 2007 Season. You are probably wondering why it took so long and why are there only Five teams.The reason is simple we have had a tough spring with registration it has been at an all time low, so low that we had to redesign the league to accomodate. The last thing I wanted to do was go to a four team league and cut some players so I figured out how to do a five team league. The rosters are posted as well as the first 5 weeks of the schedule. Please come 15-20 minutes early for your first game so we can get you organized. Each team will get a bye in the first 5 weeks. There are only 18 spots still available so if you are still interested in playing this year you should send Craig your registration stuff immediately before its too late.

we are starting on Monday April 23 with an open clinic for both new players to the game along with returning players from 8:00-9:30PM mark it on your calendars and the league starts that Thursday and the schedule will be posted as soon as its completed.

The league Draft will be on Monday April 16 2007 from 10:00-11:00 at Route 66 Captains only .

The teams will be posted on the website by Wednesday April 18, along ith the full schedule

That should cover Most everythying also know that you will not play on the league opening day unless all your registration stuff is dealt with.

Open registration starts March 1, 07 to all players both new and returning players and all registrations will be treated on a first come first serve basis.
To secure your spot you need to get a registration form along with cheque in the mail asap the league will hold spots for nobody.

1. Please print off new registration form on website and fill out completely
2. Make cheques payable to Toronto Lacrosse Club
3. First registration is for returning players only. this period is from February 1, 2007 till February 28, 2007
4. Second and open registration is on a first come first served basis starting March 1 until league is full I will not be having any more than six teams which includes 6 goalies and 84 Players so after we hit those marks registration is closed so please ensure your spot by sending your completed registration form along with payment to:

5. There has been an increase in registration this year from $175.00 to $185.00 still a good deal
6. Going to do the same team uniforms as last year seemed to be liked by all
7. Going to start some new awards for the league with prizes attached they will be :

Regular Season Points leader
Playoff points leader
Most improved player
Most valuable player
Most Sportsmanlike award
There may be some other surprises

8. These awards are to be handed out at the year end banquet which i promise will happen this year
9. Instead of having three games all at once for the final there will be a week just for the top teams to play the finals with a banquet to follow we will encourage everyone to come out and view the league final and join us after for the year end banquet
10.There will be a additional; floor time and clinic the week before the league starts up so that new players can learn our game and old players can get some practice before the season
11. There will be a draft like all previous years to distribute players evenly throughout the league
12. Any goalies interested in committing for the year are appreciated and do not pay league fees

Hello all lacrosse players and welcome back to a new season 2007,

We are starting to put things together for the new season and they are looking good. We are working on securing our facility again and trying some other options just to see what is out there. I will be having a six team league again so registering early will be crucial and the only way in securing a spot for yourself. We will be starting registration a little earlier this year by mail for all players that played in the league last year. I will take registrations forms and cheques from returning players February 1, 2007 till February 28, 2007.After this I will open up registration to all players and newcomers. The registration info will be sent out as soon as it is available so please keep on checking our site for updates.

Game Suspensions handed out

We regret to inform all of our Toronto Masters Lacrosse League players that during our July 27th match up between Appliance Canada and Mercedes Benz we had unfortunate incident happen between two opposing players. Masters Lacrosse rules were created on the basic principal that all players have the right to play lacrosse in a safe environment. Both players in question disregarded the rules and the safety of the game was compromised. As a result of this incident both players have been suspended. An Appliance Canada player was suspended for one game and a Mercedes Benz player has been suspended for the remainder of the season. The Toronto Masters Lacrosse League would like to remind all players that the main reason for Masters Lacrosse Rules is to allow everyone to play lacrosse in a safe and fun environment and any further disregard for the rules may result in suspension and/or expulsion from the league.

The "Lacrosse for a Cure" charity Co-Ed masters rules box lacrosse tournament is coming up on Saturday, June 10th in Whitby. The cost per player is $20, with proceeds going to breast cancer research. Anyone interested in playing please contact Ian Conway for more information.

This year’s draft went very well. The Rosters and Schedule are now posted. All teams will be playing on this Thursday, April 27. We request that all players come 15 minutes prior to their posted game time so we can hand out jerseys and get organized.

NOTICE: NO PLAYERS WILL STEP ON THE FLOOR UNTILL THEY HAVE SIGNED A WAIVER AND PAYED THERE LEAGUE FEES IN FULL.

We will not be chasing people for money this year. NO PAY, NO PLAY!

Registration has been dismal, and so far we only have 45 registrants. There is still one more chance to get your registration in before the Sunday April 9, 2006 Deadline. The way things are looking we may only have four teams this year and if thats the case then there are only 17 spots left for this Saturdays registration. this is of an urgent nature because unless your name is on the list below you must get your registration to immediately to secure a spot in the league.

Hello all and welcome back,

We are just starting to finalize dates and times for the upcoming TMLL season 2006. There is a lot to look forward too as for the first time since its inception many years back there will be no increase in price for the season it will be the same as last at $175.00. Also we are looking at doing a change in team uniforms and are in talks with Under Armor so look out they should be sharp. The season will run on a similar level as last inviting all the players who played last year to register first with a cutoff date and then it will open to new players. I will request that if you are a returning player and you want to secure your spot you should send a registration form, along with a cheque. The first registration date is tentatively on April 1, 2006 and April 8, 2006 from 1-3 PM at Scarborough Soccer Center. The draft night is also scheduled for April 12, 2006 and will set up our teams for the year. Upon request I am also doing a two hour clinic for both new players to the league and players who want to work on their skills before the first week and this clinic is also tentatively scheduled for April 20, 2006. So mark down these dates and pay attention to the new website to find out if there are any changes on dates and so forth. I look forward in hearing from you all, thanks again and see you soon.
